We had a very busy weekend - we had a visit from all of the Lindley aunts! We took several walks around the neighborhood and showed off Ava's ability to cry, poop, and take a bath. We're still waiting to show off her ability to sleep.....any day now??

Ava also had a doctor's appointment on Monday, which Jake says was more for me than for her. He's probably right...I am definitely a nervous first-time mom (I don't think she's pooping enough...now I think she's pooping too much...). The doctor said she is doing just wonderfully, and she is gaining weight like a champ! She was up to 8 lbs 8 oz from 7 lbs even just 2 weeks ago, far exceeding the "expected" rate of growth. This is apparently a sign that my milk vending machine is in fully functioning order, and she is not at all lacking in the appetite arena.
