In 2009, it's safe to say we'll be welcoming quite a bit of change into our lives. Last night we rung in 2009 and hitting the 32 week mark...only 8 weeks to go! As you can see from the picture, my previously innie belly button is venturing out quite a bit these days.
My patients have now officially begun to notice my pregnant status. Kinda funny that it took this long. Last week one woman grabbed my belly and asked if I was "with child". The nurses in my clinic are convinced I just recently got a new, smaller white coat because it's just now finally getting tight.
We have been keeping Jake busy in the department of hanging new baby things on the wall. Shadow boxes, wooden letters, bathroom cabinets... Fortunately he has the patience for measuring and leveling and remeasuring and adjusting and readjusting to no end. I promised him that if it turned out to be a boy, we'd name him something that shared letters with the ones he's already hung on the wall, you know, to save him some work.
Happy 2009!! We can't wait to meet you baby girl!
