We had a crazy weekend, with Val's graduation from medical school in Chicago on Friday, then Meredith's graduation from college in Chattanooga on Saturday. But we drove back home Saturday night so we could make it to Ava's first dance recital. And boy was it worth the trip back.
Based on her performance at her school program last year, I really expected her to be shy and quiet and not actually perform the dance on stage, but was I ever wrong! She LOVED being up on the stage, and was absolutely tickled to be performing in front of everyone. She did a great job and was just adorable to watch. We were also so glad that Mawmaw and Pawpaw were able to make it to the performance!
