Disney World

After leaving the beach, we drove up to Orlando to spend a few days at Disney World. My parents and Mark met us there for the fun. I have to say, we had a fantastic time! I was expecting ridiculous lines and whiny kids...but Ava and Aidan were SO well behaved, and the lines were completely manageable. Probably the longest one we stood in was 20 minutes, and that was airconditioned and constantly moving. Even my parents had a good time!

The last day there, we ate breakfast with the princesses in Cinderella's Castle. Ava and Aidan LOVED it, and Ava has been talking about it ever since. If you ask her what you do in a castle, she will say, "eat breakfast". They got to meet Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel. Ava dressed up like Sleeping Beauty and Aidan dressed up like a pirate for the breakfast. The plan was to change Ava into normal clothes after the breakfast, but she refused to take off her princess costume and wore it the entire day, through the 90-something degree heat.

For some reason, Ava loved Pluto and was terrified of Goofy. Go figure.

This happened by the end of every day - Ava passed out sleeping before we could get her home.

All in all, a great trip. I'm actually looking forward to going back!
