Ava went to her first Illini football game this weekend! Tailgating and all! It was pretty cold/windy/rainy, so Ava left during the second quarter. Probably best, watching our pitiful performance would have made her crabby.

Pre-game Partying: Hanging out at cousin Aidan's house. Aidan picked out a present for Ava's visit - an Elmo book! (Aunt Emily discouraged him from the dinosaurs idea...) Aidan also shared his new kitten, Mowgli, with Ava!
Tailgating...inside the car! It was a little cold for the kiddos so we took over Pawpaw's backseat. Ava and Aidan really enjoyed each other. Aidan thought it was pretty fun to help feed Ava.
At the game! It was cold...Aidan was overdue for a nap...and Ava slept through the entire first quarter! Oh well...it was a start for the two littlest Illini!
