We had never been blackberry or veggie picking at Eckert's before, which is a shame since blackberries are one of my favorite fruits, and I could eat my weight in corn and tomatoes. We went with Gabriel and Isabelle today, and despite the heat, we had a great time. Patrick was saying "It's hot!" and "Done!" pretty soon into the picking, but Ava was a real sport and did a great job of choosing produce to pick.
Angie asked me if I had ever picked corn before, and I replied, "????...of course!" You can take the girl out of the small town but you can't take the small town out of the girl! :)
