Kennard Classical Junior Academy

Today Ava had her testing for the gifted programs for St. Louis Public Schools.  We were so pleased that she scored in the 97th percentile, qualifying her for gifted services.  We also then were elated to find out that she was accepted into the Kennard Academy for gifted children for kingergarten next fall.

Of course we are proud to be parents to such a bright girl, but more importantly we are so excited for the opportunities this will provide for her future.  The Kennard Academy is located just about a mile from our house in our beloved South City neighborhood.  She will receive an outstanding education alongside other bright children who come from a variety of socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.  We are so pleased that she will be exposed to a rich learning environment with a diverse group of peers.
