Visiting Atlanta

It was a little crazy traveling with a four week old baby, but TOTALLY worth it!  Boy, we had an absolutely fantastic trip to Atlanta.  We went down for my good friend Kelly's wedding, and took a few extra days to catch up with some great friends, visit some of our favorite spots, and be tourists in the place we used to call home.

What a joy to catch up with some of our favorite people - and to FINALLY meet their kids!  We took Ava to the Georgia Aquarium, the Fernbank Natural History Museum, and the Center for Puppetry Arts - where we saw a live puppet show of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  I think Ava really enjoyed her trip too - without a doubt, her favorite part was spending the night at "Anna's house".  My good friend Kara was so kind to watch Ava overnight so I could attend Kelly's wedding.  Ava and Anna had never really met (Ava was 4 months old when they did meet), but those girls are two peas in a pod.  Within about one minute it was as if they had known each other their whole lives.

We have got to go back more often.  We really miss that place!
