Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day dads!  We've had a great day in the Lindley household - we spent the afternoon at the ballpark watching the Cardinals game, and now Ava is passed out napping while Jake is grilling some ribs.  Mmmmm.  Thank goodness we left at the end of the 7th inning when Ava said she was ready to go - it's 90 degrees out there and the game is currently in the top of the 13th inning!  I don't think little Ava would have made it to the end.  We had nosebleed seats, but at least they were in the shade!  (Haha you suckers with the expensive front row seats in the blazing sun...)

Ava:  No!  D is for DJ! (her friend at school)  Daddy's name starts with J for Jake!
Me: Ok then.  We'll write Jake.
She did a pretty good job, I'd say. :)
