Ava has really been into playing pretend lately. She has two favorite games: "I'm the mommy, you're the baby, and Daddy is the daddy"...and "I'm Izzy, you're Cubby, and Daddy is Jake" (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates). It's so funny to play with her - she takes it so seriously. And in hilarious fashion imitates us!!
Ava: Ok, you be the baby and I'll be the mommy.
Kate: Ok. Mommy, can we read a story?
Ava: No. It's too late.
Ava: Ok baby, it's time for your nap. Here is your taggie.
Kate: Can I stay up and play?
Ava: No. You need to stay in your bed or I will have to close the door. Do you want green stars or blue stars tonight?
