Dinner and Dancing

We had a great time going out for dinner every night - one of my all time favorite things to do. Ava and Aidan were really good sports, eating at nice restaurants and generally behaving themselves. They were quite adventurous as well - trying all kinds of seafood and Southern fare!

Here we are at dinner after getting caught out in a downpour. Mom had lobster for dinner. Or as Aidan remembers it, "Mawmaw had to wear a bib!"



The last night we were there, we took the kids to The Salty Dog Cafe for dinner. We figured they deserved a kiddie night out. Afterwards they TORE UP the "dance floor" on the deck outside the restaurant. The guy playing the guitar thought Ava was a stitch, and kept inserting her name into all the songs he was playing. Ava and Aidan started off the dance party, and then all the other little kids decided to join them! Ava's never been a shy one...
