City Museum

We took Ava to the City Museum for the first time today. It's basically a children's museum created out of recycled relics from the city...anywhere from empty plastic water bottles to building facades. Pretty amazing art, and extremely fun for little ones!

With Daddy in the hall of mirrors:

Looking at the anteater in the "World Aquarium" part of the museum. Ava petted guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, and sting rays. She saw alligators, snakes, sharks, and a sloth. It was a big hit.

In the "crafts" section of the museum, Ava made herself a horse mask (seen below, partially finished...just trying it on for size), a fish out of a water bottle, and a painting fitting for Picasso. :)
