An Important First

Indeed, it was an important first! Ava had her first taste of Ted Drewes frozen custard today! After a full afternoon at the park, we thought Ava (and Mommy) needed a little ice cream before heading home. Not surprising, she enjoyed the custard very much.

Digging into the ice cream. Ava has really been enjoying trying to use her spoon by herself lately. I've had a lot of yogurt on the walls and rice on the floor, but it's sure fun to watch her learn!
