ABQ

Ava and I went to Albuquerque last weekend to visit Jessica and Adelynn (who is only 24 hours younger than Ava). Everywhere we went, people kept asking if they were twins. We had a wonderful time!

Ava and Adelynn playing on Adelynn's sleeping mat. They look like they're up to trouble.

We spent Saturday at the Aquarium and the Botanical Gardens. The Botanical Gardens had a cute children's garden designed to feel like you were the size of an ant. The girls really enjoyed it. Here is Ava standing (with some help from Jessica) on a giant ant, and then standing by a giant carrot.
Ava and Adelynn had a great time playing in this giant pumpkin. It's terrible, but I can't help laughing every time I see this video. We need to work on our manners, I guess. :)
Sunday we had brunch at the Flying Star Cafe. The girls were excellent diners and had a good time running around on the patio.
Sunday afternoon, we took the tram up Sandia Mountain. When I visited Jessica four years ago, we climbed to the peak. We didn't think the little ones would be up for the long hike. :)
