This week our baby is 25 weeks old, or as Jake says, Zero (years). She is growing like a weed inside of me (which is becoming quite obvious these days). She now weighs 2 pounds and this week learned a fun new trick - opening her eyes! We're not exactly sure what she's seeing in there, but her eyes are open for the first time. She has also learned the wonderful newborn habit of sleeping while I'm awake and playing while I'm asleep. A good kick to the bladder is sure to wake me up every time!
We have been busy at work on the nursery, as you can see above. It has been painted, the furniture is put together and in its final location, and we have curtains on the windows! Now her (very) pink walls just need a little decorating to make it feel like home for our baby girl. Given the pink walls, lets just hope the sonographer was right about her sex... All of the fun gifts we have received thus far have also found their way onto shelves or into drawers, along with a few fond memories from our childhoods, including my very best friend as a little one, Lolly.
I have officially outgrown all articles of pre-pregnancy clothing, except for socks and underwear. So thanks to Mom for the shirt and Emily for the pants I'm sporting in this pic. Interestingly, my intern asked me (completely seriously) today if I was pregnant. Everyone else in the room had a good laugh...I guess the white coat is still hiding it relatively well at work.

Kate, I went back and read the entries in your blog and have to say, "Congrats on the C cup, girl!" :) The multiple pictures of the developing baby bump are great! You guys are really organized to have all you have done for your "little girl". Looking forward to adding her to the family. Love, Aunt Audrey
