Christmas in St. Louis

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day home in St. Louis this year.  While we did miss the chaos of having tons of family around, it was also special for Santa to come to our house.  Mawmaw and Pawpaw made it over to visit for a while on Christmas Day, too.  The kids were so happy that our elf Hermie gave Santa a good report. 

"I'm sure Santa won't mind if I just take a few bites..."

 Ava put out 9 carrots - "Because there are eight tiny reindeer.  Plus Rudolph."  Patrick quickly put them all on the floor.

Patrick in bed, we re-organized the carrots and cookies with Ava.  Plus a note and milk, of course:

Christmas morning:  Santa was good to these kiddos.  And thank goodness he didn't forget Ava's teddy bear!
