ATL

This is an enormous post, but there is a month's worth of pictures (about a month overdue) from our recent trip to Atlanta.  It was such a wonderful experience for me - I learned so much, accomplished so much, and made some important connections for my career.  I was working pretty hard the whole time we were there, but the kids were playing equally hard.  As Ava said, "This is the best vacation ever."

They spent time with Daddy, Meme, and Mawmaw exploring the pools, parks, zoos, and museums of Atlanta.  We hit up some of our favorite dining establishments, and tried out a few new ones.  And of course we got to visit with some good friends.  Ava played with Carlson and Caleb, Anna (who seems to be the Atlanta version of Ava), and Pete (Steven and Felipe's pup).  Ava also informed me that she made a new friend in Atlanta who was 15 and took her for cupcakes (the daughter of my cardiology mentor for the month).  We had a great time...sad to leave but happy to get home!
