Ava is definitely characterized by her decisiveness, independence, and strong opinions about things in life. Again, where she gets these characteristics is beyond me. That being said, she has had very strong thoughts about what she will eat for breakfast each morning for as long as she's been able to talk. When she was just turning one, she would say "Waffle!" or "Toast!" or "Cereal. Bowl. Milk. Spoon." Now she will specify that she wants a waffle with butter, or toast with cinnamon sugar on her Gabba plate with milk in the snowman cup...But most mornings, she goes with cereal. Easy enough! She always knows exactly what kind of cereal she wants, and the cereal names have nothing to do with the actual cereal names, but rather with the pictures on the front of the box. Just thought I'd give you a little quiz of Ava cereals to see if you know which one she means. This will be crucial if you are ever serving her breakfast. :)

this is funny... I apparently do not pay any attention to the pictures on cereal boxes anymore. That will change in a couple months!! :)
