Ava had a big day today! She went to The Hairy Elephant, a kids' hair salon for her very first haircut. She was pretty nervous at first...
But she warmed up. A yellow car to sit in an a Baby Einstein video to watch didn't hurt. Taggie kept her company through the haircut as well.
In the end, Ava had a cute new haircut! The stylist couldn't resist putting her hair in pigtails. She put some layers into Ava's hair to "make her little curls pop". Ava is very fashionable, I guess.
After her haircut, we stopped by the mall to get Ava some new socks. We picked up a few other things as well... We took Ava to eat dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen. She was so good at the restaurant and ate great. She even ate artichoke hearts! She was flirting with the waiter, as usual. She really likes to flirt with waiters. Ava also got to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. She did great!
Since she was so good all day we stopped by Borders and let her pick out a new book. She picked out "Too Purpley", a book about a little fashionista who has a hard time picking out her clothes every day. I guess she could identify with the little girl in the book.
