Ava spent her first New Year's Eve with her cousin Aidan, en route to visit Jake's family. While neither of the little ones got to stay up late enough to see the ball drop, they sure had a fun visit. They had their first "slumber party", with Ava's crib placed in Aidan's room. They were both so excited about it. When Jake went in to get Ava the next morning, he said they were both sitting in their beds, awake, just looking at each other.
While breakfast was being made, Aidan and Ava decided to play the choo choo train game. Aidan is of course the engine, with Ava serving as the coal car and Jake rounding things up as the caboose. This game went on for MUCH longer than shown here. Eventually the caboose broke down.
